Chris Dietz is a critical infrastructure analyst and researcher with Idaho National Laboratory (INL), where he specializes in the application of systems theory, dependency analysis, and critical infrastructure resilience. During his tenure with INL, he has worked extensively with federal, state, and local stakeholders as well as industry partners to drive critical infrastructure resilience at both regional and national levels. Prior to his tenure with INL, Chris served in local government as a city planner in eastern Missouri, where he supported both long-term and near-term planning initiatives. He holds a Master’s Degree in Infrastructure Planning and Management from the University of Washington where he focused on energy-centric resilience through interdependence modeling and holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Missouri State University. Chris maintains certification through the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and is an active member in the American Planning Association.
