Dan Frazen is the Agriculture Emergency Coordinator for the Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA), where he has worked since 2022. He leads the emergency management and critical infrastructure protection programs for CDA’s nine (9) divisions. Dan is also the primary for Emergency Support Function (ESF) 11 Agriculture and Natural Resources for the State of Colorado. He is the current Rocky Mountain AgSecure Working Group Director. Dan has been involved in emergency management and disaster response since the 1997 Spring Creek Flood in Colorado. He is a retired law enforcement officer, and he is a qualified Liaison Officer and Incident Commander on the Type 3 Eastern Colorado Incident Management Team. Dan is a Colorado Certified Emergency Manager (CO-CEM) and FEMA National Emergency Management Advanced Academy (NEMAA) graduate. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Emergency Services Management.
