Josie Ross is the Emergency Management Officer for the City of Henderson Department of Emergency Management. Her work focuses on Continuity Planning, ICS training, exercises, hazardous materials and large scale special events. She is part of the planning team and serves as ESF 5 at the County MACC for the Superbowl, Formula 1 and New Year’s Eve. She is the co-chair of the CAER group and serves on the LEPC and SERC. She has a Masters Degree in Emergency Management.

Information sharing and cooperation is crucial for effective risk management and resilience planning. By fostering collaboration among government, operators, and communities, we can enhance the protection of critical infrastructure. However, barriers to information sharing and cooperation persist, partly due to trust. To overcome these challenges, we must build trust and create a supportive environment that encourages open communication and knowledge exchange.
