Mike Darby is currently the Mission Assurance Lead for the Systems Engineering & Integration Department at Idaho National Laboratory (INL). He has been at INL for 12 years. Mike has been working with the US Air Force on mission assurance for the last 8 years developing the Decomposition for Energy Assurance and Electrical Power Resilience (DEEPR) process and associated software toolset. Prior to INL, Mike also worked as an Electrical Engineer at Fort Greeley, AK and a Lead Supervisor at a large data center in Denver, CO. Prior to that, Mike spent 24 years in the US Navy submarine service (12 years as nuclear electrician, 12 years as nuclear officer).
